All manuscripts submitted to Jurnal Keguruan UNISA Kuningan undergo a rigorous peer review process to ensure the publication of high-quality scholarly articles. The journal applies a double-blind peer review system, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential throughout the review process.
The peer review process consists of the following stages:
The Editorial Office conducts an initial screening to evaluate whether the submitted manuscript complies with the journal's focus and scope, author guidelines, formatting requirements, and ethical standards. Manuscripts may also be screened using plagiarism detection software.
Manuscripts that do not meet these requirements may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected before entering the peer review process.
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are assigned to at least two independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field. The reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on:
Originality and novelty
Scientific quality and methodological rigor
Relevance to the journal's focus and scope
Clarity of presentation and organization
Validity of data and conclusions
Adequacy of references and literature review
Contribution to educational research and practice
Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the Editor-in-Chief or the assigned editor will make one of the following decisions:
Accept Submission
Minor Revisions Required
Major Revisions Required
Resubmit for Review
Reject Submission
The final publication decision rests solely with the Editor-in-Chief.
Authors are required to revise their manuscripts by addressing all reviewer comments and submitting a detailed response explaining how each comment has been addressed. Revised manuscripts may be returned to the original reviewers for further evaluation when necessary.
After the manuscript has satisfactorily met all scientific, editorial, and ethical requirements, it will proceed to copyediting, layout editing, proofreading, and final publication.
The journal is committed to ensuring that the peer review process is:
Fair and impartial
Objective and constructive
Confidential
Timely
Free from conflicts of interest
Editors and reviewers evaluate manuscripts solely on their academic merit without discrimination based on nationality, ethnicity, gender, religion, institutional affiliation, or political beliefs.
All manuscripts and supporting materials received for review are treated as confidential documents. Reviewers must not disclose, copy, distribute, or use unpublished information obtained through the review process for personal advantage.
Editors and reviewers must decline participation in the review process if any conflict of interest exists that could influence their judgment or impartiality.
The peer review process follows the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and is designed to uphold integrity, transparency, and quality in scholarly publishing.
