Abstract

Humans require a definite guide for life, especially in the context of increasingly diverse values, where the Qur'an stands as the primary source of education for salvation in this world and the hereafter. This research aims to explore and analyze the values of moral education advocated by Prophet Syuaib (AS) to the people of Madyan/Aikah, as documented in five principal surahs of the Qur'an (Al-A'raf, Hud, Al-Hijr, Asy-Syu'ara, and Al-'Ankabut). The methodology employed is a qualitative literature study utilizing descriptive analysis techniques on primary data (Qur'anic verses) and secondary data (exegesis books, including Ibnu Katsir, Al-Azhar, and the Ministry of Religious Affairs). The analytical framework classifies the findings based on three dimensions of human interaction: Hablumminallah, Hablumminannas, and Hablumminalalam. The results indicate that Prophet Syuaib's da'wah integrated the values of Monotheism (Tauhid), Reliance (Tawakal), and Sincerity (Ikhlas) as the spiritual foundation (Hablumminallah); Honesty, Absolute Economic Justice (perfecting measures and weights), and Anti-Oppression (Anti-Zalim) as social ethics (Hablumminannas); and the prohibition of creating mischief (Fasad) and the duty to maintain Earth's balance (Islah) as ecological responsibility (Hablumminalalam). The coherence of these values constitutes a complete and relevant model of moral education for addressing contemporary moral and systemic crises.
