Focus and Scope

Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Unisa Kuningan is a peer-reviewed and open-access journal dedicated to publishing high-quality articles documenting community service, engagement, and empowerment activities. The journal aims to disseminate conceptual thoughts, paradigms, and field results achieved from community implementation to drive sustainable social and local transformation.

The journal invites lecturers, researchers, and community development practitioners to submit original work based on actual community engagement projects.

Core Themes & Scope

The scope of the journal covers multidisciplinary approaches to community empowerment, including but not limited to the following areas:

  • Community Education & Lifelong Learning: Innovative teaching methods for rural communities, literacy development, training for school teachers, and non-formal educational empowerment.

  • Health, Nutrition, & Public Well-being: Public health interventions, nutritional advocacy (such as stunting prevention), maternal and child health awareness, and community-based mental health programs.

  • Local Economic Development & Micro-Entrepreneurship: Training for MSMEs (UMKM), financial literacy for villages, creative economy initiatives, and digital marketing adoption for local products.

  • Appropriate Technology & Digital Transformation: Implementation of simple, target-oriented technology to improve productivity, village digitization, and technological literacy for local communities.

  • Environmental Sustainability & Disaster Management: Waste management solutions, clean water initiatives, climate change adaptation at the local level, and community-based disaster risk reduction.

  • Social Development, Law, & Public Policy: Legal aid and awareness clinics, institutional strengthening for village organizations, and cultural preservation.

Publication Frequency

Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Unisa Kuningan publishes issues periodically [Silakan sebutkan frekuensi terbitnya di sini, contoh: twice a year in June and December].

Manuscript Requirements

Articles submitted must clearly articulate:

  1. The specific problem faced by the partner community.

  2. The methods and execution strategies applied to address the issues.

  3. The measurable impact and sustainability of the activity for the target community.
