School children’s street food (PJAS) may become a source of foodborne diseases if food handling and serving practices do not comply with food safety principles. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between food safety knowledge, food safety training, and the implementation of personal hygiene among PJAS vendors at public elementary schools in Tamansari District, Tasikmalaya City. A cross-sectional design was applied involving 30 PJAS vendors from six selected schools using simple random sampling. Data were collected through interviews using questionnaires and direct observation of vendors’ hygiene practices. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, chi-square test, and contingency coefficient analysis. The results showed that vendors had a high level of food safety knowledge with an average score of 75.33, while personal hygiene implementation was categorized as moderate with an average score of 54.36. Food safety knowledge was not significantly associated with hygiene implementation (p=0.192; r=0.245). In addition, food safety training was not significantly associated with either knowledge level or hygiene implementation. The low implementation of hygiene practices was likely influenced by limited sanitation facilities, work habits, and operational conditions during vending activities. Improving PJAS food safety requires continuous education, hygiene supervision, and adequate sanitation facilities
