METODE PENGAJARAN PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM MENGGUNAKAN GOOGLE NOTEBOOKLM: KAJIAN STUDI PUSTAKA

This study aims to analyze the teaching methods of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) through the integration of Google NotebookLM, an AI-based reflective platform, using a literature study approach. The research background stems from the urgent need for digital innovation to align IRE with the characteristics of 21st-century students, who prefer interactive and visual learning, especially in a subject focused on understanding revelatory texts and moral development. The method employed is systematic library research, where academic literature related to technology-enhanced learning, the SAMR and TPACK models, constructivist theory, and previous NotebookLM studies were analyzed and synthesized in depth. The analysis results demonstrate that NotebookLM holds significant transformative potential in supporting students' cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects in IRE learning. Cognitively, the platform facilitates the comprehension of complex materials, such as Quranic exegesis or Hadith, through automatic summarization and concept mapping features. Affectively, direct interaction with the AI via the Q&A feature increases student motivation and engagement. Furthermore, psychomotor benefits include fostering digital literacy and collaboration skills. Theoretically, NotebookLM can be positioned at the Modification and Redefinition levels within the SAMR model, indicating a fundamental change in learning task design. It also serves as essential digital scaffolding within constructivist theory, helping students bridge the understanding of complex religious texts. However, the study identifies several crucial challenges, including the limited digital literacy of IRE teachers, infrastructural constraints in schools, and the necessity of maintaining AI ethics to ensure the authenticity of religious text interpretations. The main conclusion of this study is the formulation of the AI-Reflective PAI Learning Model (AIR-PAI Model) as a theoretical contribution to the development of ethical and responsible AI integration studies in Islamic education.
